Fantasy football, managed

Your teams, set and sharp every week, without living on the waiver wire.

  • Moves land on the platform, and Ruxin confirms them
  • Off, Suggest, Approve or Auto, per feature and per league

What Ruxin AI does

Lineups on autopilot

Sets your highest-projected legal lineup every week, works around byes and injuries, and swaps out a starter who's ruled out before kickoff.

Waivers and FAAB bids

Finds pickups that make your best lineup better, pairs each with a sensible drop, and bids $0 on most, a few dollars on real help, and big only for difference-makers.

Covers your holes

When a starter is on bye or out and your bench can't cover, Ruxin claims a few replacements at once, all dropping the same player, so exactly one goes through.

Trade finder

Finds fair one-for-one swaps where each team trades from depth into need, judged by both teams' best lineups for the rest of the season. Offers go out on Sleeper.

Every league in one place

Sleeper, ESPN and Yahoo leagues side by side: records, matchups, what Ruxin did and what's waiting on you, all on one dashboard.

You decide how much it does

Each feature can be Off, Suggest, Approve or Auto, for all your leagues or one at a time. Guardrails cap FAAB, adds and trade offers.

Game-time aware

Checks your teams every 10 minutes around kickoff and every 30 otherwise. Players whose game has started are locked and never moved.

Player exposure

Shows which players you own across leagues, so one injury doesn't quietly sink half your week.

Guillotine ready

Survival mode for chopped leagues: weekly points count extra, and FAAB is held early and spent when the field thins out.

Tells you what happened

An email after each pass that made a move, or one daily digest. Every move is logged with why it was made and whether the platform confirmed it.

How it works

  1. Connect your leagues. Sleeper, ESPN and Yahoo, in a couple of minutes.
  2. Choose how much Ruxin does. Start with suggestions, move to approvals, let it run when you trust it.
  3. Get on with your week. Ruxin checks your teams around the clock and tells you what it did.

Frequently asked questions

47 answers about leagues, control, lineups, waivers, trades, leaguemates and privacy.

The basics

What is Ruxin?
Ruxin is an assistant that manages your fantasy football teams for you. It reads your leagues, sets lineups, finds waiver pickups, places FAAB bids and looks for fair trades. It does all of this on its own or waits for your OK, depending on how you set it up.
Who is Ruxin for?
Anyone who plays in more than one league, or doesn't have time to check every injury report and waiver wire each week. It's also useful in a single league if you want a second opinion on every move.
How is it different from a rankings site or a start/sit tool?
Rankings tell you what to do; Ruxin does it. It turns projections and rankings into actual moves in your leagues: lineup changes, waiver claims with bids, adds and drops, and trade offers. It checks that each move went through.
Do I need to change how I play?
No. Your leagues stay where they are, on Sleeper, ESPN or Yahoo. Ruxin works inside them the same way you would, and you can still make any move yourself in the league's own app.
Can I try it before signing up?
Yes. The demo runs on sample leagues, so you can see the dashboard, lineups, waiver ideas and trade finder without connecting anything.

Leagues and platforms

Which platforms does Ruxin support?
Sleeper, ESPN and Yahoo. On Sleeper it can set lineups, add and drop players, file waiver claims and send trade offers. On ESPN it can set lineups, add and drop players and file waiver claims; trade ideas are saved for you to offer in the ESPN app. On Yahoo it sets lineups today, with more on the way.
How do I connect my leagues?
Sleeper: enter your username, then click a one-time "Send to Ruxin" bookmark while signed in on sleeper.com. ESPN: paste two sign-in cookies from your browser (Ruxin shows you exactly where to find them). Yahoo: sign in with Yahoo's own login page. Then pick the leagues you want Ruxin to manage.
Does Ruxin work with private leagues?
Yes. Once you connect your account, Ruxin sees the same leagues you do, public or private.
How many leagues can I connect?
As many as you play in. Ruxin was built for people juggling several leagues across different platforms.
Which formats are supported?
Redraft, keeper, dynasty and guillotine leagues; PPR, half-PPR and standard scoring; superflex, flex and head coach slots; and FAAB, rolling or reverse-standings waivers.
What about guillotine leagues?
Ruxin knows the lowest score each week gets chopped. It values this week's points more, holds FAAB early while rivals overspend, bids more as the league shrinks or when you're close to the chop line, and never bids more than the richest rival could.

Control and safety

Will Ruxin make moves without asking me?
Only if you let it. Every feature has four modes: Off, Suggest (ideas only), Approve (it prepares the move and waits for your tap) and Auto (it goes ahead). You can set them for all leagues or for one league at a time.
What are guardrails?
Limits Ruxin always follows: the most FAAB per claim and per week, a reserve held back until late in the season, a cap on adds per week, and limits on trade offers per day and per leaguemate.
Can I stop Ruxin from dropping certain players?
Yes. Mark anyone "Don't drop" from the league page. Ruxin also won't drop your top players by value, players you just traded for, or anyone you recently spent real FAAB on. It respects the platform's own can't-drop list too.
What happens if a move fails?
Ruxin re-reads the league to confirm every move. If the platform doesn't show the change, Ruxin flags it so you can check it, and you can mark it as worked or not. A move that can't be sent becomes a suggestion for you to finish by hand.
Can I undo something Ruxin did?
Lineup changes can be changed back any time before kickoff, from Ruxin or the league's app. Adds, drops and trades follow your league's normal rules, which is why Approve is the default for those.
Does Ruxin ever bid big without telling me?
No. A bid over your per-claim cap, or one that dips into your reserve, always waits for your approval, even in Auto, with a note saying why Ruxin thinks it's worth it.

Lineups

How does Ruxin pick my lineup?
It fills every starting slot with your highest-projected eligible player for the week, filling dedicated slots before flex spots so a flex never takes a player another slot needs.
What happens when a game kicks off?
Players whose game has started are locked: Ruxin never moves them and shows a lock next to their name. It keeps optimizing the rest of your lineup around them.
What if a starter is ruled out late?
The late inactive swap replaces a starter ruled out before kickoff with your best eligible bench player, as long as that player's game hasn't started.
Can I still set my lineup myself?
Of course. Tap a slot on the league page to see who can swap in, with game times and projections, and tap a player to make the move. Ruxin sends it to the platform and confirms it landed.

Waivers and pickups

How does Ruxin decide who to pick up?
It looks for four things: a hole in this week's lineup your bench can't cover, a clear upgrade to your best lineup over the rest of the season, a player FantasyPros ranks above your drop or the whole platform is rushing to add, and upside stashes when your bench has room to spare.
Who will Ruxin drop?
Only players outside the top 50 at running back or wide receiver, outside the top 20 at quarterback or tight end, a third quarterback, or a kicker or defense being replaced by a better one. Never anyone on your Don't drop list.
How much will Ruxin bid?
Most adds go for the minimum. Players who'd really help get a small bid, scaled to how much better they make your team. Only difference-makers, like a running back taking over a starting job or a projected top-20 receiver, get a real share of your budget, capped at 40% of what's left.
My QB is on bye and I have no backup. What happens?
Ruxin files claims on the best few available quarterbacks for that week, all dropping the same player. Bids go down in order of preference, so your favorite is processed first; once one claim goes through, the rest fail automatically.
Will Ruxin drop my kicker for a sleeper?
Only for a speculative waiver claim, only if your kicker's game is more than two days away so there's time to pick up another, and only if you leave that setting on. You can turn it off in Settings.
Where does the player data come from?
Weekly and rest-of-season projections and expert consensus rankings from FantasyPros, Sleeper's most-added players, the NFL schedule for kickoff times and byes, and your league's own rosters, settings and budgets.

Trades

How does the trade finder work?
It looks at every team in your league for swaps where you trade from depth into need and so do they. A trade only shows up if it makes your best lineup better, doesn't make theirs worse, and each side gets back about what it gives.
Why don't I see lopsided trade ideas?
On purpose. Ruxin values players by how much they score above what you could pick up on waivers, so it won't suggest a star for a kicker, and offers your leaguemates would laugh at never go out under your name.
Will Ruxin send trade offers automatically?
Trade proposals stay in Suggest or Approve, never Auto. On Sleeper, an approved offer is sent for you; on ESPN and Yahoo, it's saved as a suggestion to send in the league's app. The trade finder is in beta while it's tuned against real leagues.

Notifications

How will I know what Ruxin did?
The Activity page logs every move with the reason, its status and whether the platform confirmed it. You can also get an email after each pass that did something, or one daily digest each morning.
Can I turn emails off?
Yes. In Settings > Notifications, move emails can be Off, Digest or Each. Moves are always logged on the Activity page either way.

When leaguemates use Ruxin

Will I know if someone else in my league uses Ruxin?
Yes, but not who. The league's page says how many other managers there use Ruxin, never their names or teams. They see the same about you.
Can Ruxin use another manager's information to help me, or them?
No. Each manager's suggestions come only from what their own account can see on the platform. Ruxin never uses another manager's waiver claims, bids, Don't drop list, settings, guardrails, notes or votes for anyone else.
What if Ruxin suggests the same player to both of us?
It can, since you're both looking at the same waiver wire. Each suggestion and bid is worked out from your own team only, and nobody gets it earlier because someone else uses Ruxin. The platform's waiver rules decide who gets him.
What are Full, Fair-play and Suspended?
How much Ruxin may do in a league, for everyone in it. Full: Ruxin works as each manager set it up. Fair-play: nothing happens on its own (Auto becomes Approve), no blocking claims, and no trade ideas with other Ruxin users. Suspended: no suggestions or moves for anyone in that league; open suggestions are cleared. Moves you make yourself on the platform are never affected.
How do we vote to change it?
When two or more managers in a league use Ruxin, any of them can open a vote on the league's page. Making Ruxin stricter (Fair-play or Suspended) passes with yes votes from two teams. Loosening it (back to Full, or Suspended to Fair-play) needs a yes from every active Ruxin user in the league, so one no ends it. Votes stay open 72 hours, and the next vote can open a week after one closes. Votes are secret: only totals are shown.
Who can vote?
Managers who are active on Ruxin (used it in the last 30 days) and who signed in to the platform through Ruxin, so we know the team is theirs. Each team gets one vote, so co-managers share it. Someone who stopped using Ruxin doesn't hold up a vote.
What happens when a vote passes?
It takes effect right away for every Ruxin user in the league, including anyone who connects the league later. Everyone on Ruxin in the league gets an email with the result. Claims already sent to the platform stay there; you can cancel them on the platform.
Can our commissioner decide instead?
Yes. If your league's commissioner uses Ruxin, they can set the league to Full, Fair-play or Suspended for everyone, which closes voting until they hand it back to the members. Ruxin checks with the platform that they're the commissioner.
Does a suspension carry into next season?
No. Each season starts fresh at Full, with votes and the commissioner's choice reset.

Privacy and account

Is my sign-in information safe?
Ruxin never asks for or stores your Sleeper, ESPN or Yahoo password. It keeps only the sign-in tokens those sites issue, encrypted in a secure vault, and uses them only to read your leagues and make the moves you allow.
Can I disconnect a platform?
Any time, from Settings > Account. Ruxin deletes the saved sign-in for that platform, and you can remove individual leagues too.
Does Ruxin share my data?
No. Your leagues, settings and move history are yours, protected so only your account can read them. Ruxin doesn't sell or share them.

The waiting list

Why is there a waiting list?
Ruxin is opening up in small groups so every new manager gets leagues that connect cleanly and moves that land. Joining saves your spot.
What happens after I join?
We let people in from the list in groups. When your spot opens, we'll email you a link to create your account (or sign in, if you already made one) and connect your first league. Your email is only used for Ruxin.
How much will Ruxin cost?
Ruxin is free during the beta. If that ever changes, you'll hear well before anything is charged.
